We, at STXCMA, were called and continue to serve in the field of education, sports therapy and counseling because we truly believe that every child has a dream and purpose for their future.  It is up to us as educators to help them achieve that dream and realize their destinies. Society needs to realize that as Malcolm X stated: “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.” Intelligence coupled with character should be the goal of true education. We provide a rigorous academic program that meets the needs of our diverse population.

 We also need to understand that struggle builds character and when used properly it is successful in motivating students to strive for excellence.  A person who falls and gets back up is a lot stronger than a person who never fell. In the struggle, we become stronger. There's no need to be perfect to inspire others. We let people get inspired by how I deal with my own imperfections.  We see striving for achievement as a lifestyle, not an end goal. We, at STXCMA, teach our students to believe in the Marianne Williamson quote: ”Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”  After their experience with me, we want my students to know that greatness is well within their reach. We will give them the tools to meet their continually growing goals.

We, at STXCMA, teach educators to practice a structured yet, holistic point of view in our classroom which ensures that every student not only grasps the material but excels in all areas. We believe in a supportive, comfortable environment where students feel safe to ask questions and not feel judged by the questions they may have. With our guidance at STXCMA, they will learn and grow from any mistakes that may be made. Our mission is to grow strong confident scholars. We have high expectations for all students morally, academically and spiritually.
